My last post sounded oddly like an acceptance speech at an award ceremony, but I can’t help being proud of my little blog! It’s got a million flaws but hey, its black and that makes it pretty, doesn’t it? =P

Anyway, went out to La Lunas last night. This highly comic name is the name of an Italian restaurant. The location and interior were pretty cool, but it so turned out that the only thing Italian about the restaurant was pizza and pasta. So pizza it was. And darn amazing pizza too. I ordered a ‘kiddie’ pizza, and much to my dismay, it was HUGE. Apparently, Irish kiddies have quite a healthy appetite. Out of the 8 huge slices, I managed to eat only 3. So the remaining pizza is sitting in the fridge waiting for me to eat it later. Tomorrow lunch probably. Sigh..

It’s been raining. Real hard. And it’s not just the rain. It’s the horrid wind too. It makes the rain deflect into diagonal sheets which drum an unearthly rhythm on the windows. I’m sitting near the fireplace, and I can hear the wind rushing over the top of the chimney, sounding as though someone is moaning in agony. God’s nature can have a really scary side to it too!

And the Italy vs. Spain quater-final ended a while ago. I was supporting Italy and they lost. They’re the world champions and they lost! But the game was another Turkey-Croatia replay. Neither side scored any goals until the penalty shootout, which brought the score to 4-2 to Spain. I think I’ll be rooting for Spain now. Go Spain!

OK its 11:14 on the dot and I need sleep. Goodnight world!
